In the private sector, she has been part of the global leadership teams of Cisco and Wolters Kluwer and has also led delegations to the UN/WHO, standardised digital health solutions at national level and helped raise 350M in funds. Currently Pilar is the founder of i-Expand, a boutique advisory firm focused on assisting Health Tech, Tech Bio and Climate Tech companies go to market in less time, with less risk and less cost. The company markets their services to companies (GTM strategy), accelerators (upskilling) and investors (commercial due diligence). To address the business skill gap amongst founders, the company has also created the Healthcare Go to Market Academy x i-Expand©. To date, more than 450+ companies have been through the programme. Pilar is fluent in 9 languages, holds 2 First-class degrees and is PMO-certified by Stanford.
