Nesreen Srouji is Head of Middle East for Bridge Investment Group. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, in investment banking, private equity and asset management. Prior to joining Bridge, Nesreen worked briefly at a hedge fund after spending six years as the CEO, Middle East of Amundi Asset Management, Europe’s largest asset manager. Prior to this, Nesreen spent eight years at Standard Chartered Bank, first setting up the Bank’s proprietary private equity business in MENA, investing equity and mezzanine directly into mid-size companies, and then as Head of Investors and Public Sector, covering Sovereign Wealth Funds and other institutional clients across the MENA region. Previously, Nesreen set up the first ever private debt fund in the MENA region for NBK Capital. She started her career as an M&A lawyer and then an investment banker, working in leveraged finance at Goldman Sachs in London.
Nesreen holds an LLB / JD degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and an MBA from INSEAD.
