Ninja is passionate about bringing to Lakestar a differentiated marketing approach to ensure the firm’s added value and positioning is understood in the larger ecosystem – by founders, investors, corporates and peers. Her role at Lakestar is to develop its strategic positioning, building connections with entrepreneurs, investors and the larger ecosystem. She is responsible for the firm’s marketing strategy, including PR and digital, and creates bespoke global events to position Lakestar as a thought leader in different fields. She is also in charge of fundraising and establishing best-in-class institutional investor relations. Ninja also advises portfolio companies on Communication matters as part of her value add role. Last but not least Ninja is Chairwoman of Lakestar’s Industry Advisory Board. Ninja brings 20 years’ experience in marketing and communication as well as an extensive network to the team. She joined from Pictet Wealth Management where she was Head of Entrepreneur Services and Marketing. There, she helped connect clients with the world of innovation and disruption by building innovative and bespoke platforms where the old and new world could meet and exchange, including Next Gen programmes. She was editor-in-chief of the bank’s client publication featuring some 200 entrepreneurial stories during her tenure. She started her career at Nestlé where she spent eight years in various positions in finance, media and operational marketing including the prestigious international audit team, reviewing operations worldwide, from remote factory locations, distribution centers or headquarters in the world’s capital. Ninja holds a Master in Marketing and Finance and is fluent in four languages. She is a proud mum of two girls and calling Geneva her home enjoys spending time in the mountains or with friends and family around good food and wine.
