Robin is Investment Principal at Prosus. Prosus invests in fast growing technology companies. For early stage investments, Prosus has a very broad scope and is sector agnostic. Prosus also has later stage investments in classifieds, food delivery, payments & fintech, edtech, ecommerce, and is probably best known for owning just over a quarter of Tencent, the Chinese gaming and social media company.
Prior to joining Prosus in 2022, Robin worked for OLX, the classifieds company owned by Prosus. His most recent positions were Head of M&A and CEO Asia. Prior to OLX and Prosus, Robin worked for eBay, LeasePlan, Shell, iFox and McKinsey. Robin studied econometrics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and has an MBA from INSEAD.
Robin lives in Dubai with his wife and her son, and has two daughters who live in England. Robin enjoys most outdoor and indoor activities, travel, and spending times with family and friends.
